Donate Differently is a fabulous service. They came on time, picked up several hundred books out that I had packed, and were kind and patient. It is difficult to part with books, but it helps to know that 20% of the proceeds go to CAMH, as well as to think of them having a second life in someone else’s hands.

I learned about “Donate Differently” at the perfect time since I am downsizing. I value books very highly, and the thought of them being recycled was distressing. David was very pleasant and helpful, and arranging the pickup was easy. This is a great service! My sister passed away and left a ton of books. I didn’t want to just give them to Goodwill. A friend recommended Donate Differently as a better way to donate the books. The scheduling of the pick up was very easy and I loved the fact that someone came out to pick them up. It’s also comforting to know that part of the proceeds are donated to CAMH. He was prompt with his communication and arrived as scheduled. For a free service, I was very pleased. And as a bonus, it felt great knowing the books would support a great cause.

They give you a specific pickup time and date that works around you. They pickup right at your doorstep so you don’t have to haul it downstairs if you live in an apartment building.

All in all, a great service and the help goes back to Canadian Society. Definitely will be happy to recommend to someone else.
